The hotel had some key amenities missing from the room, but overall, the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The service was a bit lacking due to understaffing, but they were very helpful in booking a taxi. The location was perfect for easy access to popular attractions in New York, although the neighborhood was a bit questionable. The dining options were limited and not worth partaking in. Facilities were decent but nothing extraordinary.

The hotel had decent-sized, basic rooms with no closets, but I was lucky to get an upgrade to a king-size room. The location was a bit out of the way, but felt safe, especially being close to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The dining options were limited, but they served a good bacon and ham sandwich. The service was hit or miss, with some staff members being very courteous and helpful while others seemed lost and ineffectual.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean, quite silent, and the comfortable king-size bed made sleeping peaceful. However, I found a wad of hair in the bathtub, which was a bit off-putting. The location was convenient, though a bit far from the subway late at night. The service was excellent overall, but the attempt to rush me out 15 minutes before check-out was a downside. The dining options were limited, but there were some nice choices available.

The hotel is a little out of the way for the city but OK if you are prepared to use the trains or Uber. It is easily accessible for the ferry that serves Manhattan and Brooklyn perfectly. The rooms were very clean and had a flat-screen TV, a small desk, a small refrigerator, a room safe, a very small open area to hang clothing, a bath with tub and shower, basic toiletries, and an alarm clock. However, the dining experience was not worth partaking of, and the hotel is not perfect.

Rooms

The rooms were very, very clean and had all the necessary amenities I needed. I even made use of the small refrigerator because I had brought my tea bags with me.
Service

The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay, although they hadn't answered my email promptly. Housekeeping did a great job.
Location

The location was perfect, with an attractive room, quiet surroundings, and close to a very nice neighborhood. It's a bit far from the city, but it's convenient with the nearby Metro that brings you to Manhattan in 25 minutes.
Dining

The dining experience offered yummy bagels for breakfast in the morning; however, without breakfast included, it became a hassle. The oysters were not worth partaking of.
Facilities

This hotel was a great find offering a very comfortable and clean stay with a city view at the best price possible. The location in Red Hook, just a stone's throw from the waterfront, is a major plus, although some noise concerns may arise at night.

Rooms
9.0
Staying in the room was a delight, very comfortable and clean with a promised 'city view' that lived up to expectations. It was also the best price I could find in the area.
Service
8.0
The staff here are exceptionally friendly, making my stay feel more like home. However, there was a slight rush for check-out despite the posted timing, which was a minor inconvenience.
Location
8.0
The location was perfect for me, being in Brooklyn, with easy access to public transport links to downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan. I did feel a bit uneasy walking around at night, though.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were limited, mainly bagels, and availability was scarce which dampened my overall experience, especially for breakfast.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel lacked dining variety and had limited options with regards to food. Although the lack of a comprehensive menu was a damper, the ambiance was pleasant, and the pad thai was a saving grace.

The hotel had cozy and nice rooms that were surprisingly spacious, although a bit noisy being on the first floor. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful 24/7. The location, while close to Queen Mary 2, felt a little unsafe at night with loud music from nearby buildings. The dining consisted of limited bagel quantities, and the facilities were satisfactory.
